• Account: email, phone (when verified), name, organization details you provide.
• Verification: identity and business verification data processed by our vendors (e.g. Stripe Identity, Middesk) and screening results we store as status.
• Marketplace activity: listings, offers, deal records, data-room requests, grants, and document access logs.
• Communications: messages you send us; transactional emails and SMS we send you.
• Technical: session cookies, approximate logs needed to operate and secure the service.

2. How we use it

We use personal information to:

• Operate the marketplace (auth, listings, offers, data room, fees)
• Verify participants and meet compliance obligations
• Notify you of access requests, offers, accept/decline decisions, and deal status (email and, when your phone is verified, SMS)
• Introduce counterparties after an offer is accepted
• Secure, debug, and improve the service

3. Sharing

We share information with service providers who process it for us (hosting, email, SMS, identity, payments) under contractual limits. After an offer is accepted, we share counterparty contact details with the other party so close can proceed off-platform. We do not sell personal information.

4. Retention

We retain account and transaction records for as long as needed to operate the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Document blobs may be deleted when rejected by scan or when a grant is revoked, subject to audit logs we keep.

5. Security

We use industry-standard measures appropriate to a small institutional marketplace (encrypted transport, access controls, session management). No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

6. Your choices

You may update account details in-product where available, complete or decline verification steps, and contact us to request correction or deletion subject to legal holds and records we must keep for completed deals.
